Privacy Policy

This app and portal are operated by Assurify for use by its authorized merchant partners to sell and manage device protection plans. This policy explains what information we collect, why, and how it is used, across both the Assurify Merchant mobile app and this web portal.

2. Account & Identity Information

When you sign up or log in, we collect your name, email address, and phone number (used for OTP verification). This identifies your merchant account and secures access to it.

3. KYC & Payout Information

To verify your business and enable payouts, we collect PAN, GST certificate details, bank account information, and related verification documents. This data is used solely to verify your merchant status and process wallet withdrawals, and is handled with the same care as other sensitive financial information.

4. Camera & Photos

The app requests camera access to scan device IMEI barcodes and to capture device and purchase invoice photos at the point of sale. Photos you capture are uploaded only as part of registering a plan sale and are not accessed for any other purpose.

5. Customer Data You Enter

When you register a sale, you enter your customer's name, contact details, and device information. This is used only to register and service that customer's protection plan, and must not be repurposed by you for unrelated marketing without the customer's consent (see Terms & Conditions, Section 6).

6. Push Notifications

With your permission, the app registers a push token (via Expo's push service) to send you notifications about sales, payouts, and account status. You can disable notifications in your device settings at any time.

7. Analytics & Diagnostics

The app sends usage analytics events (e.g. screen views, key actions) to help us understand how the app is used and improve it. Once crash reporting is enabled for the app, anonymized crash and error reports are also sent so we can diagnose and fix issues. Analytics and crash data are not sold or shared with third parties for advertising.

8. Payments

Plan and recharge payments are processed through Razorpay inside a secure in-app or in-browser view. We do not store your payment card details; Razorpay handles payment data under its own privacy and security practices.

9. Data Retention & Security

We retain account, KYC, and sales data for as long as your merchant account is active and as needed to meet legal, accounting, or regulatory requirements. We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your data against unauthorized access.

10. Your Choices

You can review and update your account details from the Settings screen, and request deletion of your account by contacting us. Some information (e.g. records tied to completed sales or payouts) may be retained as required by law even after account deletion.
